Dear Cafecito,
This past week flew by with work, IRB meetings for my dissertation, and finishing up three sticker designs. Somehow getting a full 8 hours of sleep made everything feel more manageable. Rest really is the underrated requirement for our bodies to recharge that a lot of us take for granted. I know I do sometimes. I forget to rest.

I’ve officially reopened the online sticker shop on Saturdays. It’ll be open once a week from 9 AM to midnight CT, so I can pack orders over the weekend. I’m excited to keep things cute and still sustainable with my busy schedule.

Feeling low-energy but still want to check in with yourself? Try one of these prompts in your favorite journal or notebook that will help you reconnect with yourself without doing too much. It should take you about 5 to 10 minutes.
Turn your favorite song into a doodle. It doesn’t have to be perfect. Just try to capture the vibe, energy, or even the colors it makes you feel.
Reflect on a TV show or movie you recently finished. What type of impact did it have on you? What surprised you?
Write about a TikTok or reel that you recently saw and reflect on how it made you feel. Did it make you laugh, cry, or just feel?
Or simply just write down how you’re feeling right now.
